In addition to its simplicity, something that characterizes - it is his freestyle
He paints only when he feels like to do so, unlike several artists who feel the pressure of producing a large number of pieces in a short time.
Björn is at his pace and calmly, which is undoubtedly reflected and transmitted in each one of his works.
DIAMONDS are the girl's best friend...
I had created PATCHWORK. "Patchwork" is one of the rare paintings where I had an idea of what to paint. I have been self-employed since 1978 except for a year in Wisconsin. After that I received my work permit, I got myself a job in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin as a Sous Chef at a restaurant. Anyway, driving back and forth, home-work-home on roads in dire need of maintenance like fixing the asphalt. A thought came to my mind...one should be able to create an image that way. As that was after all how I had started to paint in 1987. I had the idea that one should be able to create an image using dots, waves, and lines and then by putting the title below the image letting the viewer's brain create the image.
Having used black for the "construction work" on an imaginary road - I had a lot of black paint left. I used that to create GEMS...without having any idea what should come...
